It’s Website Wednesday, and a slightly different one this week. And it’s because we’ve been helping people with their websites. And we’ve been looking at so many websites over the last few weeks and months. And what we’ve noticed is the thing that’s missing from a lot of websites and startups in our enthusiasm to get a website live and make a sale, is the call to action is not clear. So when you land on your page, put yourself in the shoes of your customer. And just take a look and go, what’s the next thing that we’re asking them to do? Is there a Buy Now button? Are we asking them to leave their details? Is there a bit of both? Do you want them to ring you do you want them to email you join in to fill out a contact form? Website Wednesday, this week is all about helping you to think about what the next action is that you’re wanting your visitors to take when they visit your website. Because here’s the thing, think of it like a physical shop when someone turns up to your physical shop, when someone turns up to your website. capturing their details in some way is a really powerful way to grow your list. If that’s missing, you’ve got no idea who it is that’s in your shop. You’ve got no idea who it is that’s visiting your website. Is there a next action? Is it clear? If not get it on there and get it done? Click the subscribe button. Because every single day we are releasing videos every week, they ran about six o’clock. Videos that contain content that contain really bad jokes, lots of stuff that will help inspire you and help you get your business ideas off the ground. And up and running.
