What do our partners have to say about Rebel?
Emmanuel Oloruntola - Inclusive Economy Project Officer
Rebel has designed a course to inspire and help residents to find the confidence to develop their business ideas. The course is aimed at all residents, from those with no cash and no business experience, to fledging start-ups that need guidance to keep them on track.
As a result of Rebel, residents have started their journey into enterprise and have already created products, websites and made several sales. Rebel created a peer-support network for residents to maintain contact and support one another along their journey, this has proved invaluable for our residents to hold each other accountable, and share tips.
Tony Cottam - Head Of Employment Enterprise
I went to see Rebel deliver in Manchester and it was a relief to find an organisation that didn’t rely on the traditional model of business advice and the way they delivered the training was like a breath of fresh air.
You can’t have any better feedback than the fact that people who come to Rebel Business School often become passionate advocates for the programme.
There can’t be many training organisations that have such a high retention rate. When you consider that for the participants it’s free so they could walk at any time the vast majority stay for the week. That says a lot.
It has helped raise our profile and brand image in the local area and it has helped us engage with our wider community more effectively.

Anne Solomon - Business Enterprise Co-ordinator
We were conscious that Covid-19 was creating a much higher number of redundant and furloughed residents than our existing start-up programme could cope with.
Rebel provided the ideal solution as it was able to reach out to this new audience and appeal in a way that our existing more traditional programmes do not.
Rebel engages very effectively with the attendees throughout the event and creates its own local social media community that goes on to provide support to one another long after the event is finished.

The Rebel Business School were everything that our previous experiences were not.
Not only have we had consistently good numbers at all of the events we have run with Rebel but working with them has enabled us to effectively engage with our residents, it has helped raise our profile and brand image in the local area and it has helped us engage with our wider community more effectively.
